This sophisticated resort is sprawling and beautiful. We loved it. We wanted more days lounging by the sparkling pools, more mornings wandering the pristine grounds, more mouth-watering meals at the Michelin-starred restaurant, and more time exploring the old-world, Mediterranean-inspired grounds.

Other dining options include Amaya, a California-bistro-style eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Clubhouse Grill overlooks the fairways and offers fish tacos and salads as well as cold beers and craft cocktails. Children under five years old eat free at The Clubhouse Grill. Children six to 12 years old receive a 50% discount on all menu items. Del Mar Social Club offers wood-fired pizzas and craft cocktails, as well as casual dining on the large front lawn. Horseback riding is another fun activity. The rides are accessible to all levels of experience and all ages. The resort also offers electric and BMW bikes for guests to use, so they can enjoy the paved trails at their own pace. There are 37 miles of hiking trails starting on the property.
