TOP TEN REASONS TO STAY IN THE SHERATON MAUI RESORT & SPA

Maui is, quite simply, magic. We return to Maui time and again. And when we aren’t there, we daydream about it constantly. It’s evident that many feel the same way, given the sheer number of hotels and resorts available on the island.

How do you narrow down the choices so that you can choose where to stay? We are here to help. The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is our favorite. Continue reading to learn the top ten reasons that this resort is a top choice for Maui vacations.

10. The Sheraton Maui is ideal for couples and families. There are plenty of activities for teens and children, including a lagoon-style swimming pool, splashpool, and waterslide as well as beachside s’mores, and easy access to snorkeling. You can enjoy tranquility with your friends and couples by travelling during the “off-season”, when school is not in session. The resort’s “Moana Wing” offers unbeatable ocean views, privacy, and exclusivity.

9. You can walk to many of the nearby attractions. The resort’s excellent location is one of its best features. The perfect year-round weather in Maui makes it easy to walk anywhere. We love this and try to avoid renting a car as much as possible. There are many cafes, shops, boutiques, and beaches within walking distance of the hotel. A nearby rental shop for electric bikes is also available.

8. There are many amenities. The Sheraton Maui has a beautiful spa, lagoon-style pool and beach access. The property also has a Black Rock Scubatour agent that can help you plan unforgettable scuba and snorkeling trips. It also rents paddle boards and surfboards. There are many bars and restaurants on the property. You can also find outlet shops onsite for souvenirs and last-minute needs. The property also offers a fitness center that can be used for cardio and weight training, as well as an outdoor tennis court.

7. It is a luxury resort that offers all the amenities you would expect at a high-end resort without the expensive daily rates. In fact, off-season guests can get room rates as low as $500 per night, which is a far cry from the high-end resorts. We are grateful that Sheraton Maui has affordable room rates, even on the priciest Hawaiian island.

6. Amazing views. This resort is a landmark built in 1963. Its developers were first to know about its incredible, unbeatable location. You will be astonished by the stunning sunset views from the lobby, restaurants, and balconies of this hotel. The hotel’s “Moana Wing”, a new room type, offers a breathtaking and unrivalled panoramic view of the seascape.

5. The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa offers spacious and modern accommodations. You can choose from an ocean-view king, resort-view double or a king, with plenty of space and ultra-comfortable beds.

4. It is the embodiment of the aloha spirit. When we arrive at the resort, we feel like “Ohana”, and that warm, welcoming feeling continues throughout our stay.

3. It is a celebration of native Hawaiian culture. There are many activities at the resort that celebrate native Hawaiian culture, such as a stunning and authentic beachfront Luau and a nightly torch-lighting ceremony and cliff diving ceremony. This is an ancient and mysterious Hawaiian ritual. The resort also hosts live Hawaiian music and hula dance.

2. There are so many delicious food and drink options at Sheraton Maui. The highlight of our trip was the Sheraton Sandbar, where we enjoyed tropical cocktails and “pupus”, while watching the sunset Cliff Diving Ceremony. The Sandbar, which is perched high above the property and overlooks Black Rock, offers spectacular views.

1. The best location on Maui. The Sheraton Maui is located in Kaanapali, the most sought-after area of Maui. It boasts the best location among all resorts on the island. The long-standing resort is built around the famous Puu Kekaa Black Rock. This rock is well-known among thrill-seekers, who travel far to cliff dive from this rugged rock. It is also close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Maui. The lush grounds are full of exotic plants and native flowers.
